Not really having any first hand exposure to it except for the information that I can gleam from the internet, initial D, and fooling around on the PS2, I certainly won't claim to be 100% correct. I have to admit that I am jealous of your exposure and experience with it. Most of mainland America is completely unaware of it or just does not understand the sheer beauty of it. I would love to go to Japan for many reasons, one of which is to see a drift session or competition firsthand. Until then, though, I will have to experience it vicariously through video and games.
